Brought to you by Larry Gigli's "The Hits Keep Coming" Hitman Services....sorta.
Gigli won MANY Razzie awards including Worst Picture. It sits at #71 on the IMDB Bottom 100. So we thought we'd give it a go. The plot seems awesome so we're pretty excited. Can it be THAT bad or was its poor reception be caused by "Beniffer" backlash?

If you were going to remake The Beastmaster, who would you cast as Dar (Marc Singer), Kiri (Tanya Roberts), Maax (Rip Torn), and Seth (John Amos)?
About Gigli - Movie Information
Sam's Boring Bullshit
Directed and written for the screen by Martin Brest, who we will of course remember directing such smash hits as Beverly Hills Cop and Midnight Run. We sort of remember him from his remake of Death Takes a Holiday, which was re-titled Meet Joe Black. I don’t remember that he directed Scent of a Woman. None of those films were written by Brest; this one was. However reserve your judgment of Brest’s writing capabilities as we will soon find out, it may have not all been his fault.
This film was, if we remember, the second desert of the "Bennifer" meal. The mud pie that no one had the room for.
Jennifer Lopez was paid $12,000,000 for her role, while Ben Affleck was paid $12,500,000 for his. Both of their salaries combined are more than three times the film's overall worldwide gross of $7,266,209.
Received such bad reviews that it was dropped by every UK cinema after only one week.
By its third weekend on release, only 73 U.S. theaters were showing it, down from 2,215 during its first weekend, a drop of 97%. This remains the largest drop in terms of percentage, but is no longer the largest drop in terms of the numbers of theaters shed: the new holder of this title is Meet Dave (2008).
Halle Berry was originally going to act opposite Ben Affleck, but ended up dropping out. She would instead go on to do Gothika and Catwoman, which I hear are better movies.
This is the first film to, in essence, sweep the Razzies. Worst Picture, Actor, Actress, Director, and Screenplay. The opposite of the Oscar Grand Slam. Making it, the shitty equidistant to It Happened One Night.
The word "fuck" is used 124 times.
Of all of the primary cast members, the only one who does not curse at all during his scenes is Christopher Walken.
Martin Brest has done nothing since this film.
There are a total of 10 scenes showcased in the trailers which did not appear in the film. This is rumored to be a byproduct of changing the story of the movie mid-production. According to the rumor Brest had originally written a crime film that was very dark in tone and had an original run estimate of 160 minutes. Mid-production the studio forced him to turn it into a romantic comedy in order to capitalize on the "Bennifer" craze. I may have walked after something like that as well. If it’s true I really feel for you Martin.
